There are a lot of wild animals in the Malaysian jungle. You will never see an elephant, tiger or bear in the wild, unless you are very very lucky.
We went to Zoo negara with our kids and were suprised how well maintained this zoo is. You can choose to walk or take a hop-on hop-off ride. If you like to watch a show, you can see a sea lion show two times a day.
There are a few restaurants and food stalls but we weren’t very impressed by the food they serve. We advice to bring your own food and look for a picknick spot to enjoy the scenery.
